Featured Mazes — Creative, Educational Toys for Kids

Here are some more free printable mazes. I post a new maze puzzle here every few months or so. Sometimes its work I've done for a publication, sometimes its a maze created purely for fun.

Each Amazeing art maze makes a great learning toy for kids. You can talk about the meaning and history of the Statue of Liberty, for example, as the kids try to solve the maze puzzle. People seem to search for discovery toy, creative toy, and learning toy when they mean the same thing: a fun, educational toy (or educational game) for kids. Amazeing Art mazes are all that and more. Enjoy!

Statue of Liberty Maze Puzzle

The Statue of Liberty Maze Puzzle

Built and designed by the French during the 1870s, the real name of this statue is "Liberty Enlightening the People." It is only a few meters taller than was the Colossus of Rhodes—which was built more than 2,000 years ago. This maze was featured on CBS TV when the local station here in San Francisco ran a profile on me.

What makes a toy an educational toy ?

What makes a toy or game an educational toy for kids? When a toy or game is interactive, challenging, and fun, then it becomes an educational toy or learning toy. Watching characters (or real people ) on TV do amazing things is certainly fun, but its not interactive, and its not actually challenging (unless finding the remote is a problem). Mazes and other puzzles, however, are fun, interactive and challenging all at the same time. They are true learning toys and educational games. So give some of these free mazes to your kids and watch their puzzle-solving skills improve. You can read some site visitor comments to see what these maze puzzles have done for others.

I hope you have enjoyed all the sample mazes in the whole "Free Mazes" section of my website.

Best wishes,
